Homemade Pepper Jelly

Jason had lots of different peppers in the garden this year, and since we all love pepper jelly here on the farm, I thought what better way to preserve this summer goodness by making pepper jelly.

This is delicious! Not sure one batch will be enough. Grilled hamburgers, topped them with goat cheese and this pepper jelly. So, so good!
I made this recipe with our home grown tam and hot tamale peppers. We didn’t grow any bell peppers this year so I purchased some from Sprouts. This was my FIRST time to EVER make jelly and let me tell you, it is delicious. The only thing I did different was used lemon juice instead of lime juice since that’s all I had!
